Lucy runs a saloon in Scobus R8T4, a Martian settlement where she's taken on the town's medical duties and its darkest job: autopsies for the frontier. When a beloved rancher dies in a buggle stampede, her autopsy reveals an impossible truth — he was a robot, and nobody knew, including possibly himself.
